Newstaff Employment is hiring dedicated 1 to 1 Teaching Assistants to support pupils within local schools in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. This rewarding role focuses on providing personalised, one-to-one support to help students overcome challenges, stay engaged, and reach their full potential.
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Salary: £13–£15 per hour (competitive, dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Flexible – hours and days to suit your availability
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one support to students to aid learning and development
- Assist with the delivery of individualised learning plans
- Encourage engagement and participation during lessons
- Support students with tasks while promoting independence
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and school staff
- Create a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other education professionals
Essential Skills & Experience
- Passion for education and supporting young people
- Experience working with children or young people (preferred)
- Patient, empathetic, and encouraging approach
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Reliable, flexible, and committed
