Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Branch Manager in Watford to join a successful and well-established installation company. This is a hands-on, operational role where you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the branch, leading a small team and ensuring smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of services.
Location: Watford
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm (rota basis)
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a team of 4 staff members
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the branch
- Handle customer enquiries and sales of doors and related products
- Answer, make telephone calls, and respond to emails promptly
- Process orders and schedule installations efficiently
- Deal with customers face-to-face in a professional manner
- Check quantities and condition of delivered goods against delivery notes
- Carry out some manual handling, including lifting garage doors
- Learn and maintain strong product knowledge across the full range
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven supervisory or management experience
- Strong sales and customer service background
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organisational and time management skills
- IT literate and confident using office systems
- Ability to manage workload effectively in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Team-focused, hands-on management style
Desirable Experience

Background in the DIY, doors, construction, builders’ merchants, or home improvement sector
