Newstaff Employment are seeking a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen in Swanton Morley, Norfolk, NR20.
£16.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Manage and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your section.
- Assist in developing new menu items, contributing innovative ideas and feedback.
- Monitor and control stock levels, reducing wastage and ensuring freshness.
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
- Support the kitchen team in delivering a consistent, top-quality dining experience.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
- A strong passion for food and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of culinary excellence.
- NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable.
