Newstaff Hospitality Recruitment Agency is currently looking for a Chef de Partie on behalf of our client based in Bury St Edmunds.
Chef de Partie in Bury St Edmunds
Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour +accrued holiday pay
Main Duties:
- Organise and set up the assigned section of the Food, Beverage, and Kitchen.
- Ensure consistent preparation of dishes according to standard recipes.
- Assist Sous Chef and Head Chef as required.
- Work in any section of the kitchen if necessary.
- Ensure sanitation standards for the kitchen are met.
- Communicate to management if set ticket times are not met.
- Apply proper kitchen safety procedures and basic cooking skills.
- Properly wrap, label, date, and store all food items in their correct areas.
- Set up, operate, and clean all kitchen machinery and equipment, storing it in the proper place.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Awareness of all relevant legislation and ensuring compliance, including licensing, health and safety at work, COSHH, environmental health, fire precautions, manual handling, and any other relevant policies.
- Own transport is essential.
