Class 2- Delivery driver
Newstaff are recruiting for a Class 2 delivery driver for our client in Welwyn garden city.
The position is working for a company that specialising in disturbing cleaning products.
The working hours are 5:30am until 2:30pm / Monday to Friday.
The main duties will consist of:
- Your role as a driver is to ensure all deliveries reach the correct destination
- Your vehicle is to always be clean and tidy, checking water and oil on a weekly basis. Any mechanical problems must be reported to the manager
- You will be required, when necessary to assist warehouse staff with loading and unloading vehicles
- Once all products are delivered, you must get the customers signature and date
- At the end of your shift, your responsibility before leaving is to fill the daily drivers destination sheet every day.
The candidate is given a maximum of 2 parking tickets per year to be paid for by the company (unless under exceptional circumstances)
The ideal candidate must be clean, smart and tidy – Uniform will be given to wear at all times.
This is a permanent position.
