CNC programmer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to create and improve CNC machine programs. You will work with machinists and engineers to ensure parts are made accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit CNC programs for milling and turning machines.
- Read technical drawings and convert them into machining instructions.
- Choose the right tools and settings for each job.
- Test and adjust programs to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Work with machinists to solve problems and improve processes.
- Keep records of programs and changes.
- Follow safety rules and quality standards.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing setting.
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam or Fusion 360.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
