Drivers Mate in Dunstable
Newstaff Employment is seeking a Drivers Mate to assist delivery drivers with their routes for our client based in Dunstable. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and friendly team in a physically active role with regular weekday hours.
📍 Location: Dunstable
💷 Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
🗓️ Schedule: Monday to Friday
🕕 Start Time: 6:00 AM – Finish (between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with deliveries throughout the day
- Help with loading and unloading goods
- Ensure all items are handled with care and delivered safely
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Requirements
- Must be presentable, punctual, and reliable
- Physically fit and able to assist with heavy lifting when required
- Comfortable with early starts
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
