Newstaff Employment is hiring a qualified English Teacher in Bedford to join a supportive middle school on a short-term basis. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, running until 7th March, focused on delivering engaging English lessons and supporting pupil progress.
Location: Bedford
Salary: £170–£190 per day (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: Full-time (school hours)
Job Type: Temporary / Short-term contract

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging English lessons to middle school pupils
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively
- Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil progress
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within UK schools
- Strong classroom management skills
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and committed approach
- Availability for an immediate start
