Factory Operative in Dunstable
Newstaff Recruitment Agency is currently recruiting for a Factory Operative on behalf of a company based in Dunstable.
Pay Rate: £12.13 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 2 pm – 10 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce high-quality products to meet daily production targets.
- Follow production guidelines and ensure adherence to quality control standards.
- Monitor production processes to identify and address potential issues promptly.
- Maintain a steady workflow to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.
- To promote efficiency, keep the workstation clean, organised, and free of obstructions.
- Assist in general housekeeping duties within the factory.
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth production processes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address challenges and share updates.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Good attention to detail to ensure quality and accuracy in work.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with tasks requiring standing for extended periods and light manual handling.
- Consistently arrive on time and work scheduled shifts.
