Family Law Solicitor – Northampton

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Family Law Solicitor in Northampton to join a highly respected and supportive Legal 500 firm. Whether you’re 1 year PQE or operating at Senior Associate level, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading Family Team with a reputation for excellence and a strong regional presence.

📍 Location: Northampton
💷 Salary: From £45,000 per annum + excellent benefits
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time (Monday to Friday)
📌 Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage your varied caseload from instruction through to resolution
• Provide legal advice and representation in matters relating to:

• • Divorce

  • Financial settlements and property matters

  • Child arrangements and parental disputes

  • Trusts of Land (ToLATA)

  • Pre-nuptial, post-nuptial, and cohabitation agreements

  • Non-molestation and emergency injunctions

• For senior-level candidates: mentor junior team members and contribute to team development
• Maintain high standards of client care and legal compliance

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualified solicitor with at least 1 year PQE in family law
• Confidently managing a diverse caseload independently
• Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
• Approachable and collaborative team player
• Passionate about delivering exceptional client service
• For senior applicants: demonstrable experience guiding or supervising junior fee earners
