Flooring Sales Consultant – Banbury

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Flooring Sales Consultant to join a well-established retail branch in Banbury. This is a customer-facing role ideal for someone with proven flooring sales experience who enjoys delivering excellent service and driving sales performance.

Location: Banbury
Salary: £22,000 basic + commission (OTE £27,500)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (including every Saturday and every other Sunday)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent sales performance against targets
• Provide outstanding customer service and professional flooring advice
• Confidently measure and estimate in customers’ homes
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-presented store environment
• Work collaboratively as part of a close-knit retail team
• Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day operation of the store

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in flooring sales (carpets, hard flooring, or similar)
• Strong retail sales background with a customer-first mindset
• Confident communicator with an engaging and professional approach
• Ability to work weekends as part of a rota
• Organised, reliable, and commercially aware
