Newstaff Employment is hiring a hands-on HGV Shunter Driver in North London to manage evening yard movements while supporting warehouse operations during quieter periods; in this varied role, you will move vehicles safely and assist with forklift and general warehouse duties within a close-knit team.

Salary: £16.50 – £17.50 per hour
Working Hours: 6:00 pm – 3:00 am

Key Responsibilities
- Move and position 18T and 7.5T vehicles safely around the yard; therefore, operations remain organised and efficient
- Conduct vehicle checks before movements to maintain safety standards
- Support warehouse operations during downtime so productivity stays high
- Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load and unload goods efficiently
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
- Work closely with a small team of 10 to maintain smooth shift operations
- Follow all health and safety procedures to protect staff and equipment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven shunting experience with 18T and 7.5T vehicles
- Valid FLT licence or strong forklift operating experience
- Comfortable working evening shifts from 6:00 pm to 3:00 am
- Proactive, hands-on and team-focused attitude
- Strong awareness of yard and warehouse safety procedures
