HGV1 Driver – Days & Nights – Milton Keynes
Newstaff Employment is hiring experienced HGV1 Drivers in Milton Keynes for both day and night shifts, where you will transport goods safely and efficiently while ensuring every delivery arrives on time and in excellent condition.
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £18.00 – £19.00 per hour
Working Hours: Days and Nights available
Job Type: Full-Time / Ongoing

Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV1 vehicles confidently during allocated day or night shifts
- Before each shift, complete thorough vehicle checks to ensure road safety and compliance
- After each route, record delivery details accurately and report any issues immediately
- Communicate clearly with dispatch; therefore, you maintain smooth operations and on-time deliveries
- Load and unload goods when required, securing cargo properly to prevent damage
- Follow all traffic regulations and company procedures at all times
- Resolve delivery issues professionally so customer satisfaction remains high
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of UK road transport regulations
- Reliable and punctual approach to shift work
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the team
