HGV2 Drivers in Hemel Hempstead
Hours of Work: Starting at 04:00 each morning until finish, typically lasting a 10-hour shift.
Salary: £16.50 per hour (Paye) + accrued holiday pay
Contract Type: Temporary, starting immediately
Responsibilities:
- Safe operation of an HGV2 lorry during shifts.
- Delivery of goods to various store locations.
- Work to load, unload, and ensure the correct delivery of items.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and comply with all transportation laws and regulations.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and that any maintenance issues are reported promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid HGV2 driving license.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to adhere to schedules.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety and efficient operations.
