Location: Stevenage
Job Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Opportunity
Salary: £16 per hour; Saturdays: Time and a half; Bank Holidays: Double time
About the Role: Newstaff Recruitment Agency in Stevenage have a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver in Stevenage. This position offers steady, long-term work with the potential for a permanent placement for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Class 2 Dustcart safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to scheduled routes and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards and vehicular regulations.
- Participate in daily vehicle checks and maintenance protocols.
- Provide excellent service to clients and maintain professionalism.
Work Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Typically 8 hours per day
Requirements:
- Valid Class 2 Driver’s License.
- Previous experience in HGV2 driving is preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
