Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV 2 Flat Bed Driver in Hockliffe to support a busy transport operation. In this role, you will deliver goods safely using a flatbed vehicle while making sure all loads are secured correctly and arrive on time.
Location: Hockliffe
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time (shift details to be confirmed)

Key Responsibilities
- In this role, you will operate an HGV Class 2 flatbed vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
- You will secure loads correctly to keep them safe during transport
- Before and after each shift, you will carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
- In addition, you will complete delivery paperwork accurately
- You will communicate clearly with dispatch and customers about delivery times
- At all times, you will follow road traffic laws and company safety rules
- When required, you will assist with loading and unloading using safe handling methods
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience driving flatbed vehicles
- Experience securing heavy or awkward loads
- Good knowledge of UK road safety rules
- Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
