Hybrid Key Account Manager in Birmingham

Newstaff Recruitment Agency is recruiting for a Hybrid Key Account Manager on behalf of a company based in Birmingham.

Location: Central Birmingham (must live within easy commuting distance)
Employment Type: Full-time, 9-day working fortnight
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum + excellent commission structure + extensive benefits package

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Provide exceptional management and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Develop, manage, and convert your sales pipeline within unrestricted areas and industries.
  • Sell and design bespoke fire and security solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to maximise revenue.
  • Contribute to the development of new products and services to meet market demands.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to offer innovative solutions.
  • Report directly to the Group Sales Director, regularly updating sales performance and pipeline progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Proven track record in service and project selling, particularly within the fire and security industry.
  • Demonstrated ability in client acquisition and relationship management.
  • Ability to design and sell tailored solutions to meet diverse client needs.
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of presenting and negotiating with clients at all levels.
  • Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple accounts and sales pipelines efficiently.
  • High level of self-motivation and a proactive approach to achieving targets and goals.
