Newstaff Employment is hiring a physically fit and reliable Lab Prep Assistant in Croxley Green to handle soil samples, carry out heavy lifting, and support laboratory testing within a busy lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare soil samples accurately for laboratory analysis
- Label and organise soil samples in line with lab standards
- Carry out heavy lifting when moving soil samples and equipment
- Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient lab environment
- Support laboratory technicians with sample preparation tasks
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Record sample handling details and report discrepancies quickly
Essential Skills & Experience
- Ability to work in a lab environment, handling soil samples
- Physical fitness to manage heavy lifting regularly
- Strong attention to detail when preparing and labelling samples
- Good understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work well within a team
