Machine Operator in Luton
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Machine Operator to join a well-established company based in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a dynamic role, operating machinery in a small and friendly team of five machine operators.
📍 Location: Sundon Park, Luton
💷 Salary: £12.50 per hour + accrued holiday pay
⏰ Working Hours: Rotating shifts – One week 6:00 am – 2:00 pm, One week 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
📌 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a medium-sized machine, ensuring smooth production.
- Perform reasonably heavy lifting as part of the role.
- Follow training protocols to master machine operation.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure the machine runs efficiently.
- Work collaboratively in a small team of five operators.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Prior machine operating experience is preferred but not essential – full training is provided.
- Ability to handle moderate physical tasks, including lifting.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
