Mechanic / Vehicle Technician
Newstaff Employment Services is recruitng for an Isuzu Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client based in Tingewick, Milton Keynes, Bucks.
- Mainly servicing and resolving the most challenging and time-sensitive problems
- Pre delivery preparation and fitting of accessories to new vehicles
- Diagnosing and identifying faults, making improvements, keeping accurate records and meet demanding quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a good level of efficiency without compromising quality
- Ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Accurately and skilfully undertake the repair and servicing of motor vehicles.
- Detect and diagnose and additional faults for further repair
- Ensure all work is completed safely and complies with professional standards
- Fulfil all tasks to the customers’ complete satisfaction
- Personal Attributes:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Take responsibility for the quality and quantity of their work
- Administration experience
- Experience and competency in the accurate use of IT equipment
- Self-motivation and enthusiasm
- A full Driving Licence
- Your own set of Tools
Benefits
- Salary – £14-£15 an hour depending on experience, overtime available
- Holiday entitlement – 24 days per year plus bank holidays
- Pension – 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution

- Ongoing training as required
Hours
- Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm and Friday, 8am – 3.30pm with ½ hour lunch break (basic 39 hour working week)
- Overtime available (Mon – Sat time and a half, Sunday – double time, bank holiday Monday – double time & day in lieu)
- You will be required to do work some Saturday mornings
Hourly Rate: £14.00-£15.00 per hour + Company Pension + Benefits + On-site parking
