Multi-Skilled Installation Engineer in St Albans
Newstaff Employment is recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Installation Engineer to join a leading fire and security solutions provider based in St Albans. This is an exciting field-based role covering London and the Home Counties, offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic, growing team.
📍 Location: Field-based role covering London & the Home Counties (within 25 miles of St Albans)
💷 Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per annum (depending on experience) + Company Vehicle + Expenses + Benefits
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time
📌 Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and commissioning of electronic fire and/or security systems
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site
- Ensuring work is completed to high quality and safety standards
- Liaising with clients, providing expert guidance and support
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Ensuring all installations meet compliance and industry regulations
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the fire/security industry
- High level of technical knowledge in electronic security systems
- Must reside within 25 miles of St Albans or within London (excluding South London)
- Comfortable working across London and the Home Counties
- Full, clean UK driving licence required
- A stable and consistent career history is essential
