Primary Teachers – Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £145 – £180 per day
Working Hours: Typically 8:15 am – 3:45 pm, with half-day opportunities potentially available

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
• Follow lesson plans and maintain continuity of learning during teacher absences.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt your teaching approach to meet the needs of different pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and positively.
• Support pupils with additional or SEN needs when required.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and other school staff.
• Follow individual school policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
• Provide feedback to permanent teaching staff following supply assignments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• You are enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable.
• You are passionate about making a positive impact in the classroom.
• You can confidently teach within EYFS, Key Stage 1, or Key Stage 2.
• Teachers with subject specialisms or SEN experience are also encouraged to apply.
• You can adapt quickly to different schools, classrooms, and teaching environments.
• You understand your safeguarding responsibilities and always put children’s welfare first.
• You hold an Enhanced DBS certificate or are willing to obtain one.
• You can provide satisfactory references.
• If you have lived outside the UK for more than six months during the last 10 years, you can provide an overseas Police Good Conduct Certificate or equivalent.
