Sales Administrator

Location: Luton, Bedfordshire, England

Newstaff Employment Services are seeking a self-motivated individual to join our client’s internal sales team based in Luton.  This role is an excellent opportunity for a confident, passionate and articulate individual to be directly responsible for their own success and ultimately develop their skill set and business acumen.  ** This is for a 12 month fixed term contract but could lead to a further role to be discussed at the end of the contract**

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing/inputting sales orders, including price confirmation/order acknowledgment to a high degree of accuracy achieving business KPI’s.

  • Managing the order process through to delivery and keeping the customer informed at all stages of order from placement through to delivery.

  • Act as first point of contact for our customers and deal appropriately with incoming sales enquiries.

  • Speaking to internal colleagues in relation to stock and availability.
  • Liaison with BDM and Marketing to support with dispatch of literature, samples and display boards.
  • Invoicing

  • Greeting guests at reception.

  • To demonstrate a good attitude for sales, and have the passion and ambition to grow with the company and be results driven.

  • Excellent telephone manner and confident and articulate.

  • Personable – ability to build strong business relationships.

  • Fast learner – keen to develop and build a career within sales.

  • Competent IT skills and working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Attention to Detail – Understands the importance of checks and measures of own workload in order to protect the company’s competitive cost position by a ‘Right 1st Time’ attitude.

  • Written and Verbal Communication – Writes clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings and styles.

  • Teamwork – encourages employees to work together.
