Newstaff Recruitment Agency in St Albans is currently looking for a Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based in St Albans.

Sales Administrator in St Albans

Pay: £30,000 per annum

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process sales orders and enquiries via phone, email, and online systems.
  • Ensure data accuracy in orders, quotes, and invoices.
  • Manage order processing and generate shipment paperwork promptly.
  • Engage with customers for clarification, answering queries, and resolving issues.
  • Maintain and update records within a CRM system.
  • Support the engineering team with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and inventory management.
  • Coordinate with couriers, sourcing quotes, and arranging shipments nationally and internationally.
  • Collaborate with the bookkeeper on payment processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Remain informed about company products and services.
  • Oversee stock levels and order office supplies as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE/O level minimum; A levels preferred. A degree in business administration or a related field is beneficial.
  • Experience with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Precision and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, manage multiple deadlines, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Independent and team-oriented work style.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Professional attitude with adaptability.

Desirable Skills: (Not essential)

  • Background in the filtration industry.
  • Familiarity with Cin7 software.
  • Knowledge of international shipping logistics.
