Senior Fire Fault and Commissioning Engineer – London, Home Counties
Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a senior Fire Fault and Commissioning Engineer to join a successful St Albans company.
The role will be to cover London and the Home Counties.
Reporting directly to the engineering manager, you will be the day to day onsite and technical lead with the operations team for their fire and life safety department.
Responsibiities to include:
- Fire alarm commissioning
- Fire alarm fault finding
- Cause and effect programming
- Onsite training and development
- Technical management
- Onsite support and customer relationships
- Quality assurance
- Core alarm systems and products
Skills and Expereince Required:
- Must have a stable and consistent work history.
- Must be based within easy commutable distance to St Albans and be happy with working in London.
- Core Alarm Systems & Products knowledge: Gent, Advanced, Ziton, Morley, Kentec
- Further knowledge: Air sampling, suppression and smoke ventilation systems.
- Commissioning of fire alarm systems ensuring compliance and accurate documentation. Size of system ranges between standalone 20 device systems to 500+device systems with multiple networked panels.
- Have advanced knowledge on Fire system set ups and configuration
- Provide a high level of technical support both to your engineering team as well as the wider business.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Clean driving License.

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum ( All travel paid )
