Transport Coordinator
Newstaff Employment are recruiting for a Transport Co-Ordinator to join an established Company on a Temp to Perm basis based in Milton Keynes
Job Purpose:
As Transport Co-Ordinator you will be primary contact point for customers and haulier partners, you will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end transport plan. Ensuring that safety service and savings targes and adhered to. Working with a team ethos to e4nsure an excellent and valued service is provided to all customers’, whilst gaining trust and respectful business relationships.
Key Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience of working in a cost-sensitive environment
- Experience of transport planning in a 3PL environment is desirable
- Good working knowledge of UK Geography
- Experience in using transport planning software
- Awareness of LGV and Trailer combination equipment types
- Successful tracking record in communication and building relationships with customers
- Used to working in a challenging customer service environment

- Anticipate and resolve problems
- Record/report information in a timely manner in line with business needs
- Demonstrate the ability to achieve targets and deadlines set
- Competent use of IT systems, Transport system knowledge advantage
You will need:
- Hours: Tuesday – Friday 05:45-14:45 & Saturday 05:45-Midday
- Temp-Perm position
- £14.42 ph + holiday accruement (£30,000 pa + holiday)
- Safety boots & Hi Viz
- Immediate start if successful after interview
