Days or Night Shift Vehicle Mechanic in Enfield
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Vehicle Mechanic in Enfield to join a reputable and expanding automotive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a clean, modern, and well-equipped workshop where you’ll carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs to a variety of vehicles to manufacturer standards.
📍 Location: Enfield
💷 Salary: £30,000 to £50,000 per annum (DOE) + performance bonus
⏰ Working Hours: Choice of day or night shifts (see below)
📌 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, service, and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications
- Carry out mechanical repairs with efficiency and accuracy
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Maintain a clean and professional workspace
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Own tools required
- A full UK driving licence is essential
Desirable (Not Essential):
- MOT Tester Certification
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
Shift Options:
Option 1 – Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30 am – 2:30 pm + Every other Saturday
Option 2 – Night Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 pm – 12:00 am + Every other Saturday
