Warehouse Operatives in Shefford
Job Overview
Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives to join a well-established company based in Shefford. This role involves a variety of warehouse duties, including checking goods in and out using an in-house computer system.
Due to the location, applicants must have a valid driving licence and their own transport.
Pay: £12.50 per hour + accrued holiday pay
Location: Shefford
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out general warehouse duties as required
- Checking goods in and out using the internal computer system
- Handling and moving stock safely around the warehouse
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept organised and efficient
- Adhering to health and safety regulations
Skills & Requirements
- Must be physically fit as the role involves lifting and moving stock
- Basic IT skills to operate the in-house stock management system
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential
- Must have a valid driving licence and access to transport due to location
