Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England

£15 per hour

Here at Newstaff Employment Services Milton Keynes, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to support an extremely well established business that specialises in the design and supply of smart packaging materials for fulfilment operations across Europe. 

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for organising the safe and efficient receipt, storage and despatch of warehoused goods.

Ultimately, you should ensure operational productivity targets are achieved by directly supervising operational staff, along with organising and monitoring work flow

Monday to Friday 0600 to 3.00pm there will need to be some flexibility around this time as the shift could change to 9am to 6pm 

Main Duties

Ensure that all outbound delivery vehicles are loaded in time to meet the demands of the transport plan.

Ensuring goods receipt is planned for accordingly, booked in and labelled correctly

Communicating job expectations to all staff, including agency workers, planning monitoring and then feeding back results.

Monitor individual performances for each operational duty, then feedback results to all key stakeholders.

Establishing priorities to ensure the team works efficiently to meet demanding deadlines.

Make sure that all goods despatched adhere to the unique conformance requirements of our customers.

Publish operational status reports, along with feeding back daily KPI figures to the operational leadership team.

Good problem solving skills

Manage the MHE fleet to ensure that maintenance schedule is adhered to, along with reducing repair costs.

PC literate with the ability to use MS Office

Ability to support the business in maintaining internal/external audits and accreditations.

Excellent people management skills.

Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.

Enforce the businesses Health & Safety polices within the Warehouse.
