HGV1 Driver – Leighton Buzzard
Newstaff Driving recruitment agency is hiring experienced HGV1 Drivers in Leighton Buzzard to join a leading logistics company on a temporary basis with immediate starts available. This is a brilliant opportunity for professional drivers ready to hit the road, with both day and night trunking shifts available.
📍 Location: Leighton Buzzard
💷 Salary: £17–£18 per hour (PAYE), depending on shift
⏰ Working Hours: Day or Night shifts, typically 10–12 hours
📌 Job Type: Temporary (Ongoing work available for the right candidate)

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an HGV1 vehicle for regional deliveries and collections
- Complete accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to all UK transport laws and company regulations
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
- Maintain a clean and professional vehicle at all times
- Essential Skills & Experience:
- Valid UK HGV1 (Category C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous HGV1 driving experience preferred
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- A safety-first mindset with a reliable, professional approach
