Industrial Sewing Machinist in Dunstable
Newstaff Employment is currently recruiting for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a small, friendly production team based in Dunstable. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional looking for consistent, long-term work in a close-knit team environment.
📍 Location: Dunstable
💷 Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour + accrued holiday pay
🗓️ Schedule: Monday to Friday (Part-time hours may be considered)
📅 Job Type: Long-term opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Operate industrial sewing machines with precision and care
- Sew, make, and embroider various types of clothing and garments
- Follow production specifications and quality standards
- Work collaboratively with a team of five in a small on-site workshop
- Maintain equipment and keep the work area tidy and safe
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial sewing machinist
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow patterns or instructions
- Comfortable working in a small team environment
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible
- Open to both full-time and part-time applicants
