Accounts Assistant

Location: Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, England

£24k - 28k per year + Benefits

Newstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client, based in Welwyn Garden City.

Essential Requiremenst:

  • Must have experience using Sage One accounting system.
  • The ideal applicant will have a minimum of one year’s experience working as an accounts assistant in a busy office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills is required.
  • IT proficient in MS Word and Excel.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work on your own initiative and work well to deadlines.

The Role:

  • Dealing with all aspects of accounting to include invoicing, dealing with customer queries via email and on the phone, payroll duties, handling basic bookkeeping and all general administrative tasks as required.

Monday to Friday full time hours

Salary: £24,000 pa to £28,000 pa depending on experience plus benefits
