Newstaff Employment is hiring an AM Production Operative in Letchworth to join a friendly and supportive production team. In this role, you will learn the full production process, including wiring, soldering, and basic electrical installation. Therefore, this is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual keen to develop new skills and build a long-term career.
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.00 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of a production team to complete daily production tasks
- Learn and carry out wiring and soldering duties
- Assist with basic electrical installation work
- Follow production processes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Work efficiently to meet production targets
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
Essential Skills & Experience
- Reliable and hard-working attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills and processes
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive attitude and professional approach
- Previous production experience is beneficial but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to quality and safety standards
