Experienced Bench Joiner in Hemel Hempstead
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Bench Joiner in Hemel Hempstead to join a well-established carpentry and woodwork warehouse. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a hands-on role crafting bespoke furniture and woodwork products to precise specifications.
📍 Location: Hemel Hempstead
💷 Salary: £14.50 per hour + accrued holiday pay
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
📌 Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture high-quality furniture and joinery products according to technical drawings
- Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail across all projects
- Work efficiently within a busy, fast-paced workshop environment
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed at all times
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a bench joiner or in a similar carpentry-based role
- Strong understanding of furniture construction techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Competency in using woodworking machinery and tools
- Relevant qualifications in carpentry or woodwork
