Newstaff Employment is hiring an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager in Luton to drive growth within the construction sector, where you will secure new contracts, build strategic partnerships and expand market presence across construction and leisure industries.
Location: Luton
Salary: £40,000 – £60,000 basic (OTE) + bonus + excellent benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Job Type: Full-Time (Hybrid Available)

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new clients within the construction and leisure sectors; therefore, you generate consistent new business opportunities
- Develop and execute strategic growth plans to achieve revenue targets
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients, stakeholders and industry partners
- Conduct market research so you stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity
- Prepare and present persuasive proposals and tender submissions
- Collaborate closely with project and operational teams to ensure proposals align with delivery capability
- Monitor project performance and client satisfaction to secure repeat business
- Attend networking events and industry exhibitions to raise the company’s profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven business development or sales experience within construction, leisure or a related sector
- Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to analyse market data and identify growth opportunities
- Confident communicator who builds trust quickly
- Full UK driving licence
