Hospitality, Cleaning & Event Staff Required – Part-Time & Event Work

£12.71 per hour

Newstaff Milton Keynes is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Hospitality, Cleaning, and Event Staff to support a variety of events across the Milton Keynes area.

This is flexible, ad-hoc work, ideal for candidates looking for part-time hours that fit around other commitments. Shifts are available as and when events take place, with both AM and PM shifts available. Typical shift lengths are 8 or 12 hours.

Duties Include:

• Serving food and beverages to customers
• Bar service
• Assisting with buffet and light catering service
• Taking card payments accurately
• Providing excellent customer service at all times
• Cleaning event venues and public areas
• Litter picking and maintaining site cleanliness
• Setting up and clearing down event areas
• Supporting event teams with general duties
• Working both indoors and, from time to time, outdoors depending on the event requirements

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have previous hospitality, cleaning, catering, bar, or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)
• Be confident interacting with customers
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be hardworking, reliable, and punctual
• Be able to work well as part of a team
• Maintain a positive attitude and a smile throughout the shift
• Be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Be flexible and available to work various event dates
