Newstaff Employment is hiring a qualified Electrical Engineer in Radlett to carry out nationwide site surveys and maintenance work, where you will assess residential developments and create accurate installation plans for electric vehicle infrastructure.
Location: Radlett (Field-Based – UK Travel Required)
Salary: £32,000 – £37,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Full-Time
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
- Travel to multi-dwelling residential developments across the UK to conduct detailed site surveys
- Identify available power supplies and complete load testing to assess installation feasibility
- Analyse survey findings; therefore, you produce accurate reports, maps and installation plans
- Draft clear project scopes of work in line with current electrical regulations
- Work closely with property managers and internal teams to ensure survey accuracy
- Maintain detailed records of survey data and installation information
- Complete company asset maintenance using specialist equipment provided
- Support approved contractors during the installation phase to ensure compliance and quality
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified Electrician with relevant industry certification
- Strong working knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience carrying out surveys and electrical maintenance testing
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to travel nationwide and attend office days in London / Hertfordshire
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Confident communication skills when working with clients and contractors
