Flooring Sales Consultant – Milton Keynes

Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Flooring Sales Consultant in Milton Keynes to join a busy retail branch where you will drive sales, provide expert flooring advice, and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £22,000 basic + commission (OTE £27,500)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 (includes every Saturday and every other Sunday)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent sales performance and achieve store targets
• Provide professional advice on carpets, hardwood flooring, laminate, and other floor coverings
• Measure and estimate confidently within customers’ homes
• Upsell suitable products and services to maximise sales value
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented store environment
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ flooring sales experience (carpets, wood flooring, hard flooring essential)
• Proven retail sales background with a strong track record
• Experience in measuring and estimating in customers’ homes
• Confident communication and excellent interpersonal skills
• Engaging personality with a passion for customer service
• Target-driven with strong upselling ability
• Professional and well-presented at all times
