Key Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and professionally.
• Complete scheduled multi-drop deliveries to retail stores.
• Transport palletised goods to designated delivery locations.
• Use an electric pump truck to assist with palletised deliveries.
• Complete deliveries without manual handball.
• Follow planned delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure goods are transported safely and securely.
• Check loads and delivery information for accuracy.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety inspections.
• Report vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete delivery paperwork and transport documentation.
• Maintain accurate tachograph and driving records.
• Follow UK Drivers’ Hours and Working Time regulations.
• Comply with road traffic and transport legislation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Follow company health and safety procedures.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You hold a valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
• You hold a valid Driver CPC qualification.
• You hold a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience is preferred.
• You have a good understanding of road safety regulations.
• You understand UK Drivers’ Hours and tachograph requirements.
• You are confident completing multi-drop delivery routes.
• You can follow delivery instructions and schedules accurately.
• You are comfortable using an electric pump truck or willing to learn.
• You can carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• You have good communication and customer service skills.
• You are reliable, punctual and professional.
• You can work independently throughout the day.
• You are comfortable with early morning starts.
• You have a safe and responsible approach to driving.
