Newstaff Employment is hiring reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers in Luton for a temp-to-perm opportunity; in this role, you will complete chilled and ambient multi-drop deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety, punctuality and customer service.
Location: Luton
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Start times between 04:00 am and 06:00 am
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Complete Class 2 multi-drop deliveries efficiently; therefore, stores receive goods on time
- Transport chilled and ambient products safely and in line with regulations
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift to ensure compliance
- Follow designated routes while maintaining accurate delivery records
- Communicate clearly with the transport team to report updates or issues
- Deliver excellent customer service at each delivery point
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience preferred
- Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
