Newstaff Employment is recruiting HGV2 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Luton. We have both temporary-to-permanent opportunities and ongoing agency work available. Therefore, this is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay, and the chance to secure a permanent position.
Location: Luton
Salary: £18.00 per hour plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am start

Key Responsibilities
- Complete palletised deliveries throughout the South of England
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks before each shift
- Load, transport, and deliver goods safely and efficiently
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Provide a professional and friendly service to customers
- Follow all road transport legislation and company procedures
- Keep vehicles clean and report any defects promptly
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence (HGV Class 1 licence holders are also welcome to apply)
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous commercial driving experience is preferred
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations
- Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach
- Strong communication skills and good time management
