Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced HGV2 Flatbed Driver in Hockliffe to transport goods safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of load security and customer service.
Location: Hockliffe
Salary: £17.00 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time hours available
Job Type: Temporary / Ongoing (Immediate Start)

Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV2 flatbed vehicles to transport goods to various locations
- Secure loads correctly to ensure safe transit
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report maintenance issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and driver logs
- Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding schedules
- Follow all road transport laws and company procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading goods when required
Essential Skills & Experience
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC qualification card
- Digital tachograph card
- Previous flatbed driving experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of load securing methods and regulations
- Excellent driving record with strong safety focus
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
