Newstaff Employment is hiring a passionate KS1 Teacher in Dunstable to deliver engaging lessons and support the development of young learners in a nurturing classroom environment.

Location: Dunstable
Salary: £32,000 – £45,000 per annum (paid to scale)
Working Hours: Full-time (school hours)
Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing clear feedback
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a safe learning space
• Support the development of literacy, numeracy, and social skills
• Work closely with colleagues and parents to support student development

Essential Skills & Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Proven experience teaching KS1 pupils is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and early years education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patient, creative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
