Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced LED Technician in St Albans to join a busy and growing technical team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair LED screens and lighting systems for events and installations. In addition, you will work closely with production and technical teams to ensure all equipment performs to a high standard. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for someone with LED and technical experience seeking long-term career growth.
Location: St Albans
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Install, set up, and maintain LED screens and lighting systems
- Diagnose and repair faults with LED equipment quickly and safely
- Carry out routine maintenance and quality checks
- Work closely with production and technical teams during projects
- Ensure all equipment is handled, stored, and maintained correctly
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Support occasional on-site installations and event work
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience as an LED Technician or in a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of LED systems and fault-finding techniques
- Ability to read technical drawings and installation guides
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable working at heights when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and professional attitude
