Newstaff Employment is hiring a caring Level 3 Nursery Assistant in St Albans to support the daily care and development of young children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Location: St Albans
Salary: £13.00 – £15.00 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise children in age-appropriate activities
• Assist in delivering learning programmes alongside qualified staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming nursery environment
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Support daily routines, including meals, rest, and playtime
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times

Essential Skills & Experience

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Passion for supporting children’s development
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
