Newstaff Employment is hiring a reliable Line Operative in Flitwick to join a busy production team. In this role, you will help keep the production line running smoothly, maintain high standards, and support daily output in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Flitwick
Salary: £12.71 per hour, plus a 20% shift premium when all hours are worked, increasing the rate to £14.65 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time, 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, rotating shift pattern, 5 days on and 2 days off, Monday to Sunday
Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities
- Operate production line machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Assemble and pack products accurately to meet company standards
- Check product quality throughout the production process
- Therefore, identify any issues quickly and report them without delay
- Support the team with basic troubleshooting on the line
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe at all times
- Work closely with colleagues to achieve daily production targets
- Follow all health and safety procedures consistently
- Report faults, hazards, or concerns to supervisors straight away
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production role is preferred
- Ability to operate machinery safely and follow instructions carefully
- Strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and varied working days
- Dependable, hardworking, and self-motivated approach
- A basic understanding of health and safety within a manufacturing setting is an advantage
