Line Operative – Flitwick

Newstaff Employment is recruiting Line Operatives for a busy manufacturing client in Flitwick. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable candidates who want long-term employment within a fast-paced production environment.

Location: Flitwick
Salary: £12.95 per hour, plus a 20% shift premium for all hours worked (equivalent to £15.54 per hour) + accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Rotating shifts, Monday to Sunday, 4 days on / 2 days off
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cardboard cartons and attach labels accurately.
• Carry out quality checks on finished products.
• Stack completed boxes safely onto pallets.
• Move cartons and bulk bins to and from production machinery.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Keep the production area clean, tidy, and organised.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with the production team to achieve daily targets.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You are physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• You can read and write English and have good numerical skills.
• You are reliable and have excellent timekeeping and attendance.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential.
• You have experience working within an industrial environment.
• You work well as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
