Line Operative – Milton Keynes

Newstaff Employment is recruiting Line Operatives on behalf of a leading FMCG manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for reliable candidates looking to build a long-term career within a busy and fast-paced production environment.

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
Salary: Training rate £12.95 per hour. Permanent day shift £15.80 per hour. Permanent night shift £17.74 per hour, plus accrued holiday pay.
Working Hours: Training: Monday to Thursday. Permanent day shift: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 am – 8:00 pm. Permanent night shift: Sunday to Wednesday, 8:00pm – 8:00am.
Job Type: Full-time / Temp to Perm

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble cardboard cartons and attach labels accurately.
• Carry out quality inspections on finished products.
• Stack completed boxes safely onto pallets.
• Move cartons and bulk bins to and from production machinery.
• Complete production paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised production area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work with the production team to achieve daily targets.

Essential Skills & Experience

• You are physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• You can read and write English and have good numerical skills.
• You are reliable and have excellent attendance and timekeeping.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
• You have an industrial background or enjoy working within a manufacturing environment.
• You work well as part of a team and follow instructions carefully.
