Machine Operator in Dunstable
Newstaff Employment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Machine Operator to join a busy manufacturing team in Dunstable. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is comfortable working on a rotating shift pattern.
📍 Location: Dunstable
💷 Pay Rate: £13.70 per hour + accrued holiday pay
🕒 Shifts: Rotating – 2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights
📅 Job Type: Long-term opportunity
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery in a high-paced manufacturing environment
- Ensure the smooth running of the production line and report any faults
- Carry out quality checks and follow health & safety procedures
- Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets
- Follow the training provided on the specific machinery used on-site
Requirements
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production setting is essential
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
