Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced MIG and TIG Welder in Letchworth to fabricate and weld high-quality metal components to precise engineering standards within a busy manufacturing environment.
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £14.00 – £28.00 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Job Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components using MIG and TIG welding techniques
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
- Carry out quality inspections on welds and finished products
- Maintain a clean and organised workshop at all times
- Follow all health and safety procedures consistently
- Repair and modify existing components when required
- Work closely with colleagues to improve output and efficiency
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding
- Strong fabrication knowledge across various metals
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good understanding of workshop safety standards
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work independently or within a team
