Newstaff Employment is looking for someone to join the night shift team at a global manufacturer of plastic caps and closures based in Flitwick. This is an excellent opportunity to join a modern manufacturing facility supplying major blue-chip customers, offering full training, competitive pay, and the opportunity to secure a permanent night shift position.
Location: Flitwick
Salary: Training: £12.95 per hour plus accrued holiday pay (3–4 weeks on day shift) | Night Shift: £15.80 per hour (including 22% shift premium) plus accrued holiday pay
Working Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 8:00 pm – 8:00 am (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities
- Erect cardboard cartons and apply product labels
- Carry out quality inspections on finished products
- Stack completed boxes onto pallets
- Assemble new boxes ready for production
- Move cartons and bulk bins to and from production machinery
- Complete production paperwork accurately
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the production area
- Follow all company health and safety procedures
- Support the wider production team to achieve daily production targets
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous production or manufacturing experience is preferred
- Experience in a similar production role would be advantageous
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
- Comfortable standing and working 12-hour shifts
- Good English reading and writing skills
- Good numerical skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
